Unthinkable; impenetrable; something beyond the reach of thought or reason.
There are four things in the world which are incomprehensible. They are known as the four Acinteyas:
(1) the domain of a Buddha, Buddha-visaya;
(2) the sphere of the trances, jhana-visaya;
(3) the conseqiences of volitional action, kamma-vipaka; and
(4) brooding over the world, loka-cinta.
” Bhikkhus, do not brood over the world as to whether it is eternal or temporal, limited or endless, etc.
Such brooding is of no use; it does not lead to the realization of Nibbana.”
(Buddha)
